The Art of Life After: Workshop Series was a weekend long event focused on survivorship of sexual violence that included expressive workshops on Saturday and Sunday April 16th and 17th, 2016 and a closing performance open to the public on Sunday evening April 17th, 2016.

2016 Workshops Catalogue

Workshops were by and for community members who are survivors of sexual violence with a focus on highlighting People of Color (PoC) survivor leadership. Workshops integrated creative, expressive, and movement practices with the common goal of supporting healing, self-care skills, and community building for survivors. Workshops were open to up to 10 participants each on a pre-registration basis and were held at The Meeting Point, a collaboration of independent body workers and mental health practitioners, at 3464 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain, MA.

We requested that workshop registration be focused on those who identify as survivors of sexual violence or as close supportive community to survivors. We invited participants to sign up below for only one workshop or as many or all that they are drawn to!
